Terms & Conditions / Guarantee of supply of used, tested engines

All parts carry a 90 day guarantee. Only parts listed on your invoice are covered by the warranty. No part must be altered, modified or dismantled in any way without prior permission from the Company.
Failure to comply with these terms will invalidate your guarantee.

In addition to your statutory rights (which are not affected by this guarantee) we guarantee that should the engine or part supplied by the Company fail, we will at our discretion either replace the unit, supply parts necessary to effect repairs or alternatively offer a refund. This guarantee is for PARTS ONLY and does not cover engine removal labour, refitting costs or any other consequential loss howsoever incurred. This guarantee also applies to engines or parts replaced by the Company for the balance of the guarantee period.

In the event that a part supplied is found to be incorrect or faulty upon fitting, the Company must be notified within 48 hours. The engine or part must be returned to the Company (unless otherwise agreed) Collection can be arranged. If a replacement is not available a full refund will be offered. In the event of any claim, this guarantee is not transferable and applies from the date of the original purchase. If the correct parts wish to be returned without being fitted, the company retains a right to charge a handling charge of 20%, as long as the goods are in the same condition supplied.

The supplied engine is a “bare unit” and consists of cylinder head(s), the cylinder block, sump and all internal components and may be re-built or second hand (at the discretion of the Company). However, used engines may also be supplied with ancillary components such as turbo, water pump, sensors, manifolds, belts etc .If included these components are supplied free of charge and are not covered by this guarantee. The Company will not accept responsibility for the suitability, condition or application of these components.

Upon delivery please ensure all goods are checked thoroughly before being signed for, as refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit. The words “unexamined” or “unchecked” on the delivery note / docket are not acceptable. If goods prove to be damaged, DO NOT sign for them and contact us.

All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt and tensioners (where applicable) and filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee being rendered null and void.

Engine failure or damage occurring directly or indirectly as a result of the following is NOT COVERED by the guarantee:-

1. Fault or failure of an ancillary component i.e. cam belt, radiator, water pump, turbo, fuel injection etc.
2. Incorrect fitting by a garage, motor engineer or individual
3. Insufficient lubricant or coolant
4. Where the vehicle has been used for motor sport
5. Incorrect tuning or timing
6. Camshaft drive belt failure
7. Fire or theft

This guarantee is valid in UK mainland only
